US CG in Karachi visits Sindh historical places
KARACHI: The US Consul General, Karachi, Michael Dodman, after taking over the charge of his office here, undertook a visit to the historical places of Thatta, Sindh, Geo News reported Wednesday.
During his visit, Michael Dodman took a tour of the Graveyard of Makli and Shah Jehan Mosque amid strict security.
Talking exclusively to Geo News, Michael Dodman termed the today's trip as his very first after he took over the charge of the office as US Consul General. He said the objective of his visit was to witness the historical and cultural places of Sindh so that he could learn about the province's civilization.
Michael Dodman said Sindh province has a rich history and that he was glad to see Makli's historical monuments.
