Bilawal congratulates newly elected SCBA presidentKARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Patron-In-Chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has congratulated Kamran Murtaza on his election as President of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA).
“Your election as the SCBA president is a reflection of the trust and confidence reposed by members of the legal fraternity in your leadership,” Bilawal said in his message of felicitations.
The PPP patron-in-chief said the bar was a vital professional body that played a crucial role in upholding democratic traditions. The SCBA had earned the admiration of many for its struggle for the rule of law in the country and addressing issues in the administration of justice, he added.
Bilawal expressed hope that the newly elected body under the leadership of Kamran Murtaza would not only maintain the traditions of the SCBA, but would also play a greater role in addressing issues in the administration of justice and in achieving objectives of the bar.
“Please convey my felicitations to other elected officer bearers of the bar association,” Bilawal said in his message to Kamran Murtaza. pr
