Bilawal extends Diwali greetings to Hindus

KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Patron-In-Chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has extended Diwali greetings to Hindus across Pakistan on the eve of their religious festival.

He reiterated his party’s commitment to protect and promote minorities in the country without any discrimination. In a press statement issued on Saturday, Bilawal said Diwali was celebrated as a triumph of good over evil and the PPP had always struggled against evil. Every citizen of Pakistan had equal rights to celebrate and observe their religious feasts without any fear, he added. Bilawal said he rejoiced in extending Diwali greetings to all the Hindu brothers and sisters and appealed them to hold special prayers on the occasion for peace and prosperity of Pakistan and interfaith harmony. He also instructed the PPP Minority’s Wing leaders to celebrate and share the festivities with the needy who required more attention and care. pr
