Khattak says KP assembly to give deadline to stop US drone attacks

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak said on Monday that his government will give a deadline to stop US drone attacks through passing a resolution from the provincial assembly.

During a debate over drone attacks and Nato supplies in the provincial cabinet meeting, the chief minister said that people would come out to press for blocking Nato supply lines meant for US-led forces stationed in Afghanistan.

He told the meeting that his government would adopt a way within the Constitutional ambit to block Nato supplies.
