Kuwaiti PM to visit Pakistan from 10th
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Jaber al Mubarak al Hamad al Sabah will visit Pakistan on the invitation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif from November 10 to 12 to strengthen close and cordial relations between the two countries.
The Kuwaiti PM will lead a high level delegation, including ministers, top government officials and businessmen as well as media personnel.
This will be the first such a high profile visit from a Kuwait leader in last seven years. It is believed the tour will give a new impetus to the existing cordial bilateral relations between Pakistan and Kuwait and provide a good opportunity to reinvigorate efforts aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries in diverse fields.
Kuwait also hosts a large Pakistani community, which is making positive contribution to the development of Kuwait and is sending remittances supporting Pakistan’s economy as well.
The visit will take place within the framework of relations of friendship and cooperation between Kuwait and Pakistan as well as mutual desire to strengthen and expand those relations. Several agreements are also expected to be signed. app
