Sartaj Aziz, Indian PM discuss bilateral relations
NEW DELHI: Advisor to the prime minister on foreign affairs, Sartaj Aziz on Wednesday met the Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and exchanged views on matters of mutual interests including the bilateral ties.
The spokesman of Pakistan High Commission here said that the PM Nawaz Sharif’s Advisor on foreign affairs, Sartaj Aziz met the Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh at the PM House here.
The spokesman said that matters of mutual interests including the bilateral relations came under discussion of the two leaders.
Indian officials described it as a courtesy call by Mr. Aziz on the Prime Minister.
Mr. Aziz, who is here to attend the 11th Asia-Europe Foreign Minister (ASEM) conference, had on Tuesday also met Indian External Affairs Minister, Salman Khurshid.
