Non-availability of nomination papers creates confusion
KARACHI: Non-availability of nomination papers for Local Bodies (LB) polls in Sindh on last date of filing has besieged the candidates in difficulties.
As per details, nomination papers are being filed for the 264 union committees and union councils of Karachi.
On Tuesday, rumours of change in election schedule and problems in availability of nomination papers put candidates in a state of confusion and uncertainty.
Flow of candidates towards the offices of Returning Officers (RO) and assistant ROs continued at a slow pace, but at the end of the day a large number of people filed their nomination papers. In the second phase, objections on papers would be filed from November 13 to 16, while final lists of candidates along with electoral symbols would be issued on November 23. online
