QWP calls CEC meeting on November 21
PESHAWAR: Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) has called a meeting of its central executive committee (CEC) on November 21, followed by the party quitting from the provincial government alliance after corruption charges leveled against their two ministers by PTI government, Geo News reported.
Sources said that this meeting would ratify the decisions of the party to sit on the opposition benches in the KPK assembly and publishing a white paper on the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) government’s last six months performance.
QWP sources said that the party has directed all its members of the assembly to collect materials relating to KPK government’s misdoings. The application for sitting on the opposition benches has been submitted in the office of the KPK assembly Speaker, sources further said.
