Afghan Council delegation calls on PM Nawaz
ISLAMABAD: A delegation of Afghan Council, led by Sallahuddin Rabbani called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and discussed peace process in Afghanistan, Geo News reported.
In the meeting, attended among others by Advisor to PM on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, Tariq Fatimi and foreign secretary, the Afghan delegation exchanged views with PM Nawaz Sharif on regional security.
Security cooperation between two countries after withdrawal of NATO forces from Afghanistan also came under discussion.
Nawaz said Pakistan was extending its full cooperation for peace, adding stable Afghanistan was in the interest of Pakistan.
