Info Minister accuses Imran of having dual-policy
ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Pervez Rashid has said that Imran Khan should bar his PTI-led Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government from receiving funds from the United States before opposing drone attacks.
Speaking at a post-election workshop, the minister said the PTI provincial government was taking aid from the US for educational projects and at the same time protesting against drone strikes and Nato supplies. “Imran’s heart is with the Taliban but his sword is with the US.”
Rashid added that militants waging war against the world from Pakistan were not acceptable for Islamabad just like drone attacks. He said that the militants were damaging Pakistan’s ties with the international community.
