41 proxy inmates identified in Sindh jails, PM told
KARACHI: Sindh Home Ministry Secretary has revealed that 41 proxy inmates are identified after NADRA verification and the persons were in prisons instead of the real criminals.
The revelation was made in a meeting held to review law and order situation at Governor House with the prime minister in chair.
Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah assured the meeting that inquiry would be conducted on the issue.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that restoring peace in Karachi is of vital importance as it is the economic hub of Pakistan.
He said that Karachi operation will continue till fulfillment of its objectives.
