Unnecessary use of loudspeakers should be prohibited: Fazl
ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief, Maulana Fazlur Rehman has stressed that the unnecessary use of loudspeakers be prohibited.
The JUI-F chief was addressing a news conference held after a meeting ‘Unity among Ummah’ over the issue of Rawalpindi carnage.
Fazlur Rehman said that loudspeakers should be used according to need as unnecessary use was also a cause of concern for residents of neighbourhoods.
Fazlur Rehman told reporters that the accused arrested for their alleged involvement in attacking Mosques and Imambargahs had confessed to their crime.
The JUI-F chief also called for the implementation of laws to avoid such incidents. “All existing laws should be implemented. If the government implements these laws, sectarian conflicts can be prevented.”
He further said that only transferring of officials after incidents like the Rawalpindi tragedy was not a solution to the problem.
