Jahangir Tarin’s fortune increased in Musharraf era: Minister
ISLAMABAD: Minister for Privatization Muhammad Zubair has said that Jahnagir Khan Tarin’s fortune increased in the tenure of former military ruler Pervez Musharraf.
Speaking at a press conference Tuesday, he wondered as to how Tarin had managed to collect such a huge amount of money when he had nothing in the 90s.
“It is our right to ask how Tehreek-e-Insaf leader became rich in such a short time,” he maintained.
He said that Jahangir Khan Tarin got his loans worth Rs 240.7 million written off while Chaudhry Brothers also indulged in the similar practice.
