Pakistan, India Prime ministers meet briefly at SAARC conference
KHATMANDU: Prime Ministers of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi finally had a brief chat at the conclusion of SAARC conference here on Thursday.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Narendra Modi wore smiles as they warmly shook hands and exchanged pleasantries.
This was followed by a very brief chat between the leaders of two significant member countries of South Asian Association of Regional Cooperation (SAARC).
Nepal’s Prime minister had appealed to the Indo-Pak leaders to meet each other so the conference could be deemed successful.
