PTI must fulfill its promises to KP: Hamza
INP
WAZIRABAD – Pakistan Muslim League-N’s (PML-N) Member of National Assembly (MNA) Hamza Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday said that the leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) must fulfill the promises which they made to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He expressed these views at a livestock distribution ceremony near River Chenab. He said that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are fighting terrorism whereas their chief minister is dancing in Islamabad. He said that when the people and their properties were being washed away in floods, the PTI leaders were dancing on containers. He said that the nation has rejected the vision and purpose of Imran with which he started his march from Lahore to Islamabad.
He also said that PTI Chairman Imran had promised the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that he would double the number of girls’ schools in the province but only one school has been opened in the last one and a half year. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has utilised only 20 per cent of the education budget whereas Punjab has used at least 80 per cent of the budget, he said. He said that how the people who roam around in a motorcade of at least 40 cars and travel in jets would make a ‘new Pakistan’?
He said that when Imran passes derogatory remarks against politicians while standing on containers, he must also consider talking about secretary general of PTI Jahangir Khan Tareen who got written off loans worth Rs 24 crores in former president Musharraf’s era.
