Iran, China, India can play proactive role for stable Afghanistan: Asif
Minister says govt will complete its tenure, will fulfill its promises made with masses

ISLAMABAD - Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif on Friday said that Iran, China, India and Russia can play proactive role for stable Afghanistan.
Talking to journalists outside the parliament, he said that Daish, Taliban and Al-qaida are the same elements, and Pakistan is fighting against them. He said that “We are fully ready to counter every threat in Pakistan”. Replaying to a question, he said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan should use the platform of the parliament, as it is the symbol of democracy.
He said that the government is sincere to tackle the issues through dialogue with the PTI, and the government time and again given offer of dialogue to the PTI. He said that procession and rallies should be peaceful. The minister said that the government would complete its tenure, and will fulfill its promises made with the masses. To another question, he said that Pakistan wants good relations with India, adding both sides should take measures for maintaining peace.
