Shah Mehmood Qureshi removed as ‘Gaddi Nasheen’ by brother
Multan: Makhdoom Mureed Hussain Qureshi on Saturday announced to remove his brother Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi as the ‘Gaddi Nasheen’ (administrative head) of Hazrat Bahauddin Zikkeriya order (silsila).
Addressing a press conference here, Mureed Hussain Qureshi said the position was given to Shah Mehmood Qureshi for preaching and promoting the religion not the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan.
He said Shah Mehmood Qureshi is being removed from his position after the pilgrims from the Sindh province filed complaints against him.
He claimed Rs5 million were being raised through ‘Jamaat-e-Ghousia’ every month and used for the rallies and sit-ins of PTI.
