Imran seeks report on LG polls defeat
APPLAHORE - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday sought a report on PTI's defeat in first phase of the local government elections in 12 districts of Punjab.
According to party sources, the PTI will have a detailed review of the results and the report. In light of the report, the future line of action would be announced later.
Earlier, PTI Punjab Organiser Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said the party - despite some reservations - contested the polls for the sake of democracy, adding that the party would maintain the same spirit during the next phase as well.
