China hails Pakistan’s role in global peacekeeping efforts
ISLAMABAD - Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Sun Weidong has said that Pakistan’s consistent and leading contribution to UN peacekeeping is a testament to its abiding commitment to global peace.
He made these remarks while addressing inaugural session of a national conference on 70th anniversary of the world body in Islamabad.
Appreciating Pakistan’s peacekeeping efforts, Chinese envoy said that both China and Pakistan enjoy close collaboration at all forums of UN, taking joint position on regional and international issues.
