Imran did push-ups to show he was ready to run away: Khursheed

ISLAMABAD: Opposition leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah has strongly criticized PTI Chief Imran Khan for his decision to postpone Islamabad lockdown.

Speaking to media here Wednesday, Khursheed Shah said, “This decision of Imran Khan disappointed political workers and strengthened Nawaz Sharif’s government.” “Disappointment of political workers is very dangerous in politics.”

“Leader always leads from the front, however, Imran Khan was sleeping at his Bani Gala residence and his party workers were on the roads,” he said.

Imran Khan did not come out of his room and only did push-ups to show he was ready to run away, Shah said.

PPP leader went on to say that Imran Khan took refuge of Supreme Court for face-saving.

He said government should implement on the four demands put forward by PPP at the earliest. He said, “the ball is in the court of Nawaz Sharif, if our demands are not met Bilawal Bhutto will decide the future line of action.”
