Bilawal says PM Nawaz leading Pakistan into isolation

DEHRKI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday accused Prime Minister Nawaz Shairf of leading the country into international Isolation.

Addressing a public rally, he said Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was hatching conspiracies “but government and Nawaz Sharif are silent”.

He said the prime minister has failed in winning international community’s support in the wake of Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir.

He also warned that his party would not let the proposed judicial commission on Panama Papers scandal work if Aitzaz Ahsan’s bill was not approved.

The PPP chairman also took an exception to Imran Khan and said he would also demand a minus-one formula in PTI if the former cricketer demanded the same in PPP.

“Uncle Imran enough is enough, public has tolerated a lot," he said and went on to accuse the PTI chairman of working in collusion with Hamid Gul and Shuja Pasha, the former bosses of country's principal intelligence service.

Reacting to Bilawal's remarks, PTI leader Imran Ismail severely criticized the PPP chairman for blaming the former generals. "It is has become a common practice that politicians criticize the army generals after their retirement," he said.

When asked to comment on Bilawal's comments about Panama papers bill, the PTI leader said the bill contains terms of references agreed by all the opposition parties.

Earlier addressing a rally in Punjab's Rahim Yar Khan district, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said the Panama Leaks controversy was the biggest global corruption scandal and that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would have to answer for it.

"Only an arrow could slay a lion. The son of Benazir Bhutto will topple the throne of Raiwind with the help of the masses," he said.
