Pakistan stands against terrorism: Jilani
WASHINGTON - Pakistan has said that it is taking action against terrorists without any discrimination.
This was said by Pakistan's ambassador to the United States Jalil Abbas Jilani while briefing to Women Policy Group in Washington. He briefed the participants about US-Pakistan bilateral relations, stability of South Asia and rapidly changing situation of the area.
He further stated that the bilateral relations between the two countries were based on democratic objectives, mutual respect and peace and development of the region. He said due to prudent policies of the government, economic indicators and law and order have been improved in the country. He said that international monetary institutions have also recognised economic progress of Pakistan.
