Pakistan for cordial relations with Kabul: Dastgir
Minister says Afghan leadership’s negative statements about Pakistan ‘will only damage the bilateral relationship’
ISLAMABAD: Commerce Minister KhurramDastgir Khan said on Saturday that Pakistan seeks cordial diplomatic, economic and trade relations with Afghanistan.
By: PPIThe minister – while talking to on a TV programme – said that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project will guarantee prosperous future, not only for Pakistan but for Afghanistan and other countries of the region as well.
He said that the Afghan leadership’snegative statements about Pakistan will only damage the bilateral relationship.He regretted that Afghanistan has not been following the principle of reciprocity in good relations with Pakistan.
