Nawaz escaping from accountability: Imran

ISLAMABAD: PTI Chairman Imran Khan has said that it seems from non filing of documents and seeking two weeks time more for filing documentary evidence by that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif is escaping from accountability.

“The prime minister had talked of presenting t himself for accountability. But documents were not presented in Supreme Court (SC) on Monday. Two week more were sought for filing these documents. It seems Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) is using dilatory tactics”, he said that this while talking to media here at Banni Gala on Monday.

On non presenting documents and using delaying tactics by the PML-N, the court remarked “this would not run for longer. SC wants to decide the case as soon as possible. He went on to say that reply was filed in SC Maryam Nawaz was not dependent. But we will give reply that Maryam Nawaz was dependent.

He underlined that NAB chairman left for China before the need was felt to ask the questions from him. He remarked “Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif agreed for his search after the people came to streets. This is victory of people. But the PML-N wants to prolong this case by using dilatory tactics. However SC wants to decide it as soon as possible. May be it is decided within two hearings.

He said that he had purchased flat in 1983 and he had not hid it from any one. The PML-N is hiding despite the fact Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had already said that Nawaz purchased this property in the 90s.
