‘Kashmir has major share in CPEC projects’
AJK president says Kashmir issue, good governance, supremacy of merit, development are priorities of current government
ISLAMABAD: President Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan has said that Kashmir issue, good governance, supremacy of merit and development are priorities of current government.
By: PPIAddressing a news conference in Mirpur, the AJK president said that Pakistan will continue diplomatic, political and moral support to the Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination. He said India has created a war like situation along Line of Control (LoC) and working boundary to divert the attention of international community from its brutalities in the Indian-held Kashmir (IHK).
He said that Kashmir has a major share in China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects, which will consequently bring development in the region. He further said that the government is encouraging private sector in the communication as well as tourism sectors to generate revenue and minimize dependency on Pakistan.
