Iqbal's message panacea for all ills, says Mamnoon

ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain has called for adoption of Allama Muhammad Iqbal's teachings that not only provide guidance to the nation in all spheres of life but also offer solution to the problems of modern times.In his message on Iqbal Day being celebrated today (Wednesday), the president said Iqbal's message was a guide against extremism and the only panacea for all ills confronting Muslim Ummah.
The president recollected the services of Allama Iqbal for the revival of nation through his powerful thoughts. He said Iqabl's philosophy steered the Muslims of sub-continent from the darkness through his candid analysis and poetry when they were undergoing hard times.
