ATC grants bail to Waseem Akhtar in six more cases

KARACHI: Karachi Mayor Waseem Akhtar has been granted bail by the Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) in six more cases.The recent bail in six more cases makes the total figure to 37 in which Karachi mayor has been granted bail while at the same time 38 cases in total have been filed against him. All these cases related to different cases such as facilitating the inciting speech, May 12 riots and suspicion of sheltering and providing medical treatment to alleged militants and criminals.
On the other hand, Waseem has also filed a petition for bail in yet another case inside Sindh High Court.
