Commandos provide blood donations for blast victims

KARACHI: The Special Security Unit (SSU) commandos rushed to the Civil Hospital and offered blood voluntarily for the victims of the shrine blast in Hub.

A statement on Sunday said that under the directives of SSU Commandant Maqsood Ahmed, a large number of police commandos – headed by Police Deputy Superintend (DSP) Rasheed Rind – reached the Civil Hospital to donate blood for the injured.

The commandos have provided blood voluntarily to Muhammadi Blood Bank from where the blood can be obtained for the victims. The doctors have also been informed that many more SSU commandos were ready to donate blood if needed for the blast victims.
