British PM desires to visit Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali has emphasized that British Prime Minister Theresa May’s visit to Pakistan is most relevant and timely in context to regional scenario prevailing in South Asia.
“It would open new channels of bilateral and multi-lateral cooperation and coordination,” Nisar said while talking to May, who called him today and expressed her desire to visit the country in the first half of next year.
The British PM also conveyed her good wishes to the Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif and the people of Pakistan.
Nisar expressed the confidence that relations between the two countries would achieve higher profile during May’s leadership. He hoped that cooperation at all levels, between Pakistan and the UK, would receive a great boost and momentum after her forthcoming visit to Pakistan.
