Balochistan University will have Confucius Institute soon
Governor Achakzai in China on a goodwill visit
BEIJING: Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai on Wednesday met with China Confucius Institute Headquarters deputy chief executive and discussed matters of educational cooperation.
By: APPA plan to establish the Confucius Institute in Quetta with the help of Confucius Institute Headquarters also came under discussion. The governor, who is on a goodwill visit to China from November 14-23, also held a meeting with scholars of the China Institute for Contemporary International Relations (CICIR) where current situation of South Asia and China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) came under discussion.
Governor Achakzai is leading a 20-member delegation mostly tribal elders. In addition to Beijing, the delegation will visit Shanghai and Urumqi as well. On Tuesday night, Ambassador of Pakistan to China Masood Khalid hosted a dinner in honour of Balochistan governor.
