PPP always support democracy: Khurshid

KANDH KOT: National Assembly (NA) Opposition Leader Syed Khurshid Shah has said Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif will be retired on completion of his service tenure.

Opposition leader said that this while talking to media on Saturday in Kandh Kot area of Kashmore. “Due to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif country is going to be bogged down in internal and external threats. Pakistan is facing unstable situation internally,” he added.

He went on to say PM Nawaz Sharif had not delivered even a single pledge on the basis of which he had won the polls. The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has always been supporter of democracy, he added. PM has stuck in the mire of Panama leaks case, he remarked.

He underlined that allegation of friendly opposition being levelled against the PPP for its avoidance from pursuing undemocratic traditions is absolutely wrong and baseless. Internal instability is deepening in Pakistan and external threats are looming large in the presence of Nawaz Sharif, he remarked.

He warned if PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto’s four demands on rulers accountability are not accepted then the PPP will launch movement. Talking of army chief retirement he said that the army chief will be retired on completion of his service tenure.
