Governor Sindh's health deteriorates: hospital sources
KARACHI: Governor Sindh Justice (r) Saeed-uz-Zaman Siddiqui's health deteriorated on Tuesday on account of breathing complications, according to hospital sources.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif paid a visit to the newly-appointed Governor of Sindh at a private hospital in Karachi. According to hospital sources, Justice (r) Saeed-uz-Zaman Siddiqui's health deteriorated as a result of breathing complications.
Hospital sources also disclosed that the ailing governor was breathing through an oxygen machine. Saeed-uz-Zaman Siddiqui, a former Chief Justice of Pakistan, took the oath of office on Friday, November 12. He was later admitted to a hospital as his condition deteriorated, due to which he had to cut short his trip to the Quaid's mausoleum.
He was brought in place of ex-Governor of Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan, who resigned and left for Dubai one day before Siddiqui was sworn-in.
