Maulana Fazl comments on Imran’s ‘wedding plan’
KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan's politics and his plan for the third marriage became a topic of discussion on more than one occasions on Monday as political opponents of the former cricket hero mentioned him for one reason or another in his absence from the country.
Imran Khan left for London after Supreme Court adjourned hearing into Panama Papers case till November 29 and has largely remained silent about politics during his stay in UK.
Imran Khan's name echoed during Maulana Fazlur Rehman's media talk when he was asked by media to comment on PTI chairman's indication that he might tie the knot for the third time. "Why would i give a suggestion...why don't you talk about my marriage," Maulana said jokingly. The maulana, however, thought it necessary to clarify that his married life was going well.
Punjab Chief Minister's son Hamza Shahbaz criticized the PTI chairman in a public rally where he said, "Khan sahib wants to hit sixer even off a no ball". Hamza Shahbaz seemed to be unaware of the fact that nothing can make a batsman happier than hitting a sixer off a no-ball.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the chairman of the Pakistan People's Party, criticized media for being obsessed with Imran Khan saying he doesn't want to talk about Imran Chacha but the first question that comes in his way is always about the PTI chairman.
