Pakistan has strong defence industry of international level: Sindh CM
KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that the exhibition of defence products of Pakistan at IDEAS-2016 has sent a loud message to the enemy of Pakistan that Pakistan was strong enough with latest weapons and war gadgets to retaliate any aggression.
This he said while talking to media at Expo Center during his visit of Defence Exhibition organized under the banner of IDEAS-2016.
He said that Pakistan army is strong enough in training, equipment and war-production and " spirit of our forces is very high because of public support to them in defending the borders of the country," he said.
He said, “these weapons are for defence means for peace because we don’t believe in aggression.W believe in love and human development,” he said.
The Chief Minister congratulated the nation that "our defence industry has has developed as a parallel industry with the developed countries".
According to a statement, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah attended assembly session in the morning and then went to visit IDEAS 2016 to witness defence exhibition .
He visited different stalls set up by different countries, including of Pakistan. He was briefed by the stall organisers on their production and presented him a model of tank, a helicopter and books.
The people present in the exhibition took selfies with the chief minister.
