Not worried about India at all: Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman

KARACHI: Pakistan's Air Chief of Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman warned India to stay patient, on Thursday and said that the country's armed forces were vigilant to defend its borders and give a befitting reply to any aggression.

Addressing media personnel at the IDEAS 2016 exhibition at Karachi’s Expo Centre, Pakistan's Air Chief of Staff urged India to exercise restraint and find a peaceful solution to the Kashmir issue. He said that he was 'not at all worried about India'.

"We are fully aware of the escalation in conflict arising from the Uri incident in Occupied Kashmir," he said. "India should exercise restraint and focus on finding a solution to the Kashmir crisis," he added.

He said that the armed forces of Pakistan were vigilant at all times and would respond to any act of aggression against the enemy with a befitting reply. Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman disclosed that Pakistan was preparing Super Mushak jets for Nigeria and Qatar and has signed an agreement with Turkey to sell 52 Super Mushak basic trainers during IDEAS 2016 expo.

Pakistan and India have exchanged fire during the past couple of months across the Line of Control. The previous day, Indian armed forces resorted to unprovoked firing across the Line of Control, martyring 12 Pakistanis, which also included three soldiers.
