Pakistan to continue support to Kashmiris: Sartaj Aziz

By APP

ISLAMABAD: Advisor to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz on Friday said that Pakistan would continue its moral, political, and diplomatic support to Kashmiris for their right to self determination.

"Our policy on Kashmir is very clear. We will continue our support to the right of self determination of Kahmiris at all forums including bilateral and international," Sartaj Aziz said while speaking in the National Assembly.

He added that the motive behind India s aggression at LoC was to divert the international community's attention from the atrocities and blatant human rights violations in occupied Kashmir.

He said three days ago Indian forces in a bid to divert attention of international community from Intafada movement of Kashmiris in Indian Occupied Kashmir attacked a passenger bus at LoC and martyred innocent citizens.

"After doing this brutality, Indian forces also targeted an ambulance which was clear violations of international laws" he said.

He informed the House that Pakistan never targeted civil population of India while Indian forces were intentionally targeting Pakistani civil population at LoC.

He said that Pakistan has taken this issue seriously and wrote a letter to five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council to apprise them motives behind Indian aggression at LoC.

He said that Pakistan would continue playing its role to gain attention of international community on Kashmir issue. Indian government didn't allow Kashmiris to offer even Jumma prayers after July 8 2016 and even internet service was not allowed in India Occupied Kashmir.

He said that Pakistan would hold dialogue with India on all issues but only with the inclusion of Kashmir issue on the agenda. The advisor said that whole nation was united on Kashmir issue and asked to avoid any point scoring on the matter.
