PESA condemns NATO strikes inside Pakistan

RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Ex-Servicemen Association (PESA) strongly condemned the attacks of NATO helicopters within Pakistani territory resulting in the deaths of three security personnel. The group said that the incident is a clear violation of international laws and US authorities should respect territorial integrity and sovereignty of Pakistan. The group urged Pakistan should express fury over NATO’s interference into geographical limits of Pakistan. PESA added that the NATO forces knew that a weak government and flood-affected public would not respond strongly to the attack. The group urged the government to put off all kinds of cooperation, including logistic support for the war against terror until NATO officially apologised over the incident. staff report
