LONDON, Oct 16 (APP)- A UK-based Kashmiri organisation has slammed the Indian authorities for its continuous violations of human rights in the troubled Occupied Kashmir.Dr Misfar Hassan, a senior leader of the Jammu Kashmir Liberation League (JKLL), in a statement condemned both the Indian authorities and the State Government for turning down the request of detained popular leader Shabbir Ahmed Shah to see his ailing 93-year-old mother. He said that the Indian authorities are defying all human norms on one hand and on the other hand they are befooling the International community.
Dr.Hassan said that JKLL UK will raise these human rights violations with all human rights groups based in the UK and Europe to keep the International community aware of the actual designs of the Indian rulers.
He urged the world powers to realise the difficulties of the people of Kashmir and seriously resolve the issue as agreed in the UN resolutions and warned that if not there are all the probabilities that such events may lead to disruption of regional and global peace.
