PPP will clean sweep next elections in Punjab: Babar
Daily Times Monitor
LAHORE: Federal Law Minister Dr Babar Awan has said that political orphans have no credibility in the eyes of people, adding that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) would clean in the next elections from Punjab, a private TV channel reported on Saturday.
Addressing a ceremony for inaugurating a gas supply project in Sialkot, Babar Awan said that the PPP leaders had taken oath to save judiciary and democracy in the country, as the country was incomplete without judiciary, administration and legislation. He further said that the government had given Gilgit-Baltistan the status of a fifth province. He said that President Asif Ali Zardari changed the name of North West Frontier Province (NWFP) as per people’s aspirations. He also said that the PPP was the biggest party of the country and it was not limited to a single province, the channel said.
