Staff Report

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has described the 25-year national agenda proposal by PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif as being farfetched.

Talking to a group of reporters at his residence on Monday, the PML-Q chief said that in the present circumstances, where it was difficult to predict the events that could shape up in the next five months; the proposal of 25-year agenda seemed farfetched.

He said that even a five-year plan had never been completed, “The idea of a 25-year agenda seems farfetched especially when no one is certain of what may transpire in the next five months,” he said in reacting to the proposal of Nawaz Sharif.
