US embassy to sponsor Pak artists’ tourISLAMABAD: The US Embassy in Islamabad will sponsor a group of Pakistani performing artists to participate in the Center Stage programme in the United States. Centre Stage is an international exchange programme that will bring international performing artists from around the globe to tour throughout the US in 2012.
Centre Stage will bring a total of ten ensembles from Pakistan and other countries for month-long tours of the US in 2012, connecting artists with diverse communities in primarily small and mid-sized cities and towns across the US with an emphasis on reaching diverse audiences. staff report
