Saudi embassy provides 5th flood relief convoy

ISLAMABAD: Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Abdul Aziz Bin Ibrahim Al Ghadeer on Friday launched the fifth charity convoy under the Road Relief Bridge initiative which was steered by the campaign’s office in Islamabad, for distribution in various parts of Pakistan affected by the floods.

He said that launching of these charity convoys is in fact an extension of the humanitarian gesture of the government and people of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, towards the people of Pakistan affected by the floods.

He stressed that the kingdom would not leave any stone unturned for helping the flood- affected people in order to alleviate the sufferings of the needy ones by continuing the relief assistance out of the religious, moral and human obligations for helping the states and nations affected by natural calamities. staff report
