Load shedding temporarily halted: PEPCO
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Electric Power Company (PEPCO) has announced that the ongoing load shedding has been terminated for the time being due to reduced electricity demand. PEPCO Director General Engineer Muhammad Khalid said the gap between power demand and supply had dropped to 500MW only, a news channel reported. He claimed that uninterrupted supply of electricity was being ensured for domestic as well as industrial consumers. He said that a few hours of power outages were being carried out at business feeders to overcome the existing gap. Khalid said that this electricity load management plan could be changed depending on weather conditions. app
