Power crisis: PML-N, MQM stage NA walkout
ISLAMABAD: During a debate on the power crisis and inflation in the National Assembly (NA) PML-Q leader Ameer Muqam said the government was not stopping loadshedding on purpose, Geo News reported.Khawaja Saad Rafique from the PML-N said people were moving towards civil disobedience and the government of the PPP was responsible for this. He added that protests would be held outside the presidency and no one could stop them. After this statement the PML-N, MQM and PML-Q (likeminded) staged a walk out.
Jamshed Dasti from the PPP accused Nawaz and Shahbaz Sharif of spreading Dengue and claimed that Shahbaz Sharif had embezzled billions during the Dengue outbreak.
The NA session was adjourned till 10 AM Wednesday.
