Power crisis: Loadshedding continues in Karachi


KARACHI: Like other parts of the country residents of Karachi are also without power for 8 to 10 hours, Geo News reported.

According to a KESC spokesperson after an increase in the supply of furnace oil industrial areas have been exempted from loadshedding while residential areas are facing power outages of up to 4.5 hours.

Residents of the metropolis are protesting against the increasing hours of loadshedding and Old City, Lyari, Lee market, Garden, Jubilee, North Karachi, North Nazimabad, Lines Area and Orangi town are the worst hit areas of the city.
