Loadshedding irks traders, citizens
LAHORE: Traders in Punjab are observing shutter down strike against prolonged hours of loadshedding in different areas. Rallies and demonstrations were held to record protest against government in failing to curb the power cuts, Geo News reported Wednesday.
In Sargodha, 22 trader bodies participated in the protest against loadshedding and staged sit-in. Tyres were also burnt while traffic was blocked in many areas during demonstrations.
Protesters demanded that the power cuts should be stopped immediately otherwise the traders would halt bill payment to the government.
