PML-N taking fight against PPP govt to streets
* Will take out rally and stage a sit-in outside Presidency over bad governance, Balochistan and prolonged load shedding

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), on Wednesday, upped the ante against the PPP government by declaring that it would take out a rally besides staging a sit-in outside the Presidency on Thursday.
In an apparent move to shift the battle against the government onto the streets from the comfortable halls of parliament, PML-N seems to be gearing up for a massive movement against the government that has been manifested through speeches by its parliamentary members in the National Assembly.
Opposition Leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan thought it better to speak outside parliament than during the session to announce that his party would stage a sit-in outside the Presidency against the bad governance of the government, particularly prolonged and unannounced hours of load shedding and Balochistan. Speaking to media persons outside Parliament House, Nisar assailed the PPP-led coalition government over its inability to handle the ongoing crises faced by the country. Leader of opposition in the National Assembly blamed the government for people’s sufferings. “Balochistan is burning...hundreds and thousands are homeless because of floods... people are protesting on streets because of power outages...but the government is asleep,” thundered the PML-N leader.
Nisar criticised President Asif Ali Zardari for touring abroad in times of national calamities. The opposition leader said the government was completely oblivious to national interests and democratic norms and its stance at the All-Parties Conference (APC) was “nothing but a joke.” Earlier, PML-N members of the National Assembly led by Opposition Leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan joined the PPP MNA Nasir Ali Shah from Quetta, who has been staging a sit-in outside parliament for the second consecutive day to express solidarity with those protesting the killings of Shias in Balochistan.
