KARACHI: A leader from Punjab is planning to bring a no confidence motion against the present democratic government but his conspiracies would fail, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain said on Saturday.
Addressing a large gathering of the party workers and volunteers of the Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation (KKF) at its Head Office in Federal B Area here on Saturday, Altaf said how someone who could not even give justice to the women of his family would give justice to the common people.
He said that he would soon inform the nation how gross injustice was done to Aysha Ahad Malik by country’s leading political party’s leader’s family member.
Someone who did not even spare the women of his family could not do justice to the people, he said, and appealed to the country’s anchor persons, writers, journalists and intellectuals to speak about the injustice done to Aysha.
Altaf said his party would thwart any move to destabilise the Pakistan People’s Party government.
He appealed to the chief justice of Pakistan and the human rights organisations in the country to take notice of the issue. He said the leader from Punjab was playing politics over the flood situation in Sindh and was trying to befool the people by claiming to get justice for them.
The MQM had never looted the wealth of the country, he said, adding that the MQM did not have palaces in foreign countries.
