PML-N to decide soon on Fasih Bukhari appointment
ISLAMABAD: Opposition leader in the National Assembly, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has received President Zardari’s letter relating to the appointment of former Navy chief, Fasih Bukhari as NAB chairman, Geo News reported.
The PML-N is expected to decide in a few days on the appointment of Bukhari after holding consultations.
Earlier Bukhari met Prime Minister Gilani who informed him about the responsibilities he would have as NAB chairman and the government’s policy on accountability. Bukhari expressed his willingness to assume the post and it is expected that a notification will be issued after legal requirements are met.
