National policy formulation not Govt’s domain alone
KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League-N president Nawaz Sharif has said that he and his party didn’t believe in violence.
In an interview with Geo News anchorperson Sana Bucha, Nawaz Sharif said the PML-N has no militant wing and if his association with outlawed groups was proved, the he would give up politics.
Regarding the release of Raymond Davis , Nawaz said that the US citizen was released by-passing constitution, law and the legal system. The assassin of two Pakistani citizens was mysteriously released on the orders of the PM Gilani and President Zardari.
When quizzed, Nawaz Sharif said that he desired friendly relations with Afghanistan and India and wished to resolve all issues including Kashmir through dialogue.
Nawaz said Pakistan, India and Kashmiris should collectively engage themselves into dialogue for the peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue.
PML-N president Nawaz Sharif said that the formulation of the country’s policy was not the exclusive domain of the government instead it should be made in consultations with the Parliament, Opposition and Pakistan Military.
